Ssshh! Here Are The Secrets For MLM

Did I got your attention? There ARE no secrets, so you can read another post. Or you can continue to read the techniques that I used to attract other Network Marketers in my business. I've been introduced to this Industry 18 years ago. I immediately understood that I wanted to be in business for myself with little overhead. I immediately understood that I can create Financial Freedom, through helping others join my business. At the time, I thought it was based on how many people I can put into my business, and how many products I could sell. Thank God for Mike Dilliard, Mark Yarnell, Tim Sales, Charlie Howe just to name a few that have shared their techniques, strategies, struggles, and success.

Wait! Do not Give up!
My friend, do find yourself thinking that there is a secret or puzzle to MLM? There are no secrets. You must be willing to out do everyone around you in giving. Here is why your upline tells you to keep going, do not give up. There are people that you must meet to get you to the next step or put you on the right path for your business. Such as, Mike Dilliard, your neighbor, your online buddy. Although not everyone is meant for you to add to your list. You must identify those that are serious about helping you and those who are just trying to simply make a Fast Start Bonus, commission off of signing you up for their business.

Here is what you thought was the secret!

To be successful in this industry, you need to build relationships, give away resources, help others with their wants and needs. Let me explain how you can be successful without spending money! I'll give you two of my latest scenarios.

One of my favorite Social sites is I am on the site for at least two hours throughout the day peaking interest, getting to know people and tweeting resources. Recently, I responded to someone who wanted to plan a Bloggers Cruise. Since Travel is my business I immediately jumped in to help. Today, that opportunity lead to a niche for my business. I found my niche! I help people plan their events on Cruises. This is how Twitter By The Sea came about. What does that mean? More customers booking travel, and more travel stores sold. Yes, I now have new business partners and customers simply because I kept going. I also became a conversationalist specialist. My eyes & ears are open for any and all opportunities that will expand, compliment or enhance my business. I learned how to fulfill the prospects wants and needs.

The latest scenario, I offered some resources to help someone with their business. Since, I've helped them with their wants and needs they are now a part of my list and my team. Yup. You need to start creating your list NOW!
MLM, Network Marketing, Our Industry is not about putting people in your business. It's about helping others with their wants and needs. Sometimes, your business may fit their want and needs. Here's what I suggest, gather resources that can help everybody in this industry and get them on your list right away! Ten years from now, and you just happen to find what everybody is looking for...You can pick up your list and get everybody involved. Not because, you found "it" but, because of the relationships you built and the people you helped along the way.

How many resources can you offer to help others? Okay, now give away as many as you can and build your list! That's the secret! Much success to you and your family!

Twitter By The Sea Itinerary Is Here!

I am flat out excited to announce our First Twitter Cruise! We will Cruise to Ocho Rios, Jamaica & Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands for 5 Days and 5 Nights, August 29 -September 3, 2009! This will be a FUN filled, networking, learning adventure for all us (told you we were going to have fun in 2009;-). Our first Twitter Cruise will be a sneak peak of the Annual Cruises. Bringing a Guest or Sharing Cabins?

There can be up to 4 passengers per Cabin. Credit card will NOT be charged until the 1st deposit date, which is always posted on the registration page. Everyone in that triple or quad cabin will be paying the same amount. We will formulates the rates of the triple and quad cabins by adding the 1st & 2nd guest rate to the 3rd & 4th guest rate then dividing by 3 or 4 people, so that everyone sharing a cabin will have the same rate. We will post the correct rates on the website for all the cabin types. 3rd & 4th passenger rates are $90.00 plus Non commissionable fares, Taxes, and Gratuities. Book Now! Cabins will sell out!

Are you a US Citizen?

When you log onto the website to register, I strongly advise that you let us know if you are a US citizens are not. There is a place at the end of the registration process where they can type notes. Please enter this info there. This will be very helpful info to the cruiseline as well. If the cruiseline assumes that a passenger is a US citizen, and you are not, you will be denied boarding. This is a security matter and it is strictly enforced by every cruiseline.

Book the correct cabin type

If you make a mistake and book the wrong cabin type, you will have to redo the whole registration process. This means that if there are only two passengers traveling you must book into a double cabin space and not a triple cabin space just in case you friend may want to go. It must be exact based on their needs. The cruiseline does not allow TBAs (Name to be announced later). It must be the legal given name for each guest or the entire cabin will be cancelled. There is to be NO duplications of the same name, everyone who will occupy a bed in a cabin must use their legal name on the registration page.

Under the age of 21

Any child who is under the age of 21 must have a paying adult booked in the same cabin who is over the age of 25. This does vary from cruiseline to cruiseline, so please always check the line you are sailing on for updates and rules on this issue. Any child who is traveling with someone other than a parent or legal guardian they must have a permission slip from the absent parents stating that they are aware that their child is traveling with someone other than a parent or legal guardian. This permission slip must be signed by the absent parents/parent and "notarized". This would include a minor child traveling with a father or mother who are divorced or grandparents. They must have permission from the absent parent for the child to travel with the other parent. Should the cruiseline ask for this permission slip and no one has the notarized letter of permission the cruiseline can deny boarding of that minor.

Travel Insurance Insurance is optional but strongly recommended.

All deposits and payments are refundable before June 1, 2009.

Are We Having FUN Yet?

I promised that 2009 would be our year right? Well, one of my resolutions was to write more (at least 2-3 times a week) and create valuable content for my readers. So far, I am writing my third post for 2009. Yippee! I hope you find this post a little more entertaining that the others. My first New Years Resolution, was to start having FUN! So let's do it!

My friend, ever since I was 7 years old I wanted to help people. Yup. I was only 7 and knew that I would be helping others during my lifetime. I enjoy it! Sometimes, you wonder if while helping people if they are listening. I've decided that I am only the messenger, it's up to the individual to take action. Well, who am I? Robert Kiyosaki & Donald Trump are also messengers, and most people ignore them (lol).

I received a phone call today from a "fishing prospect" Yup. I said it she was fishing. I later learned that she was comparing companies. She started off by inquiring about my Company
$6, 000 Guarantee, she was interested in a part time job but couldn't imagine working for a total of twelve hours a day. I gave her the resources to review, and she insisted that I tell her ALL about it. Well, I decided to keep it simple. I shared with her how the guarantee was based on activity, not productivity and would pay her on average $500.00 a month. I went on to explain the activity process, she would need to pass out 1 magazine five days a week for 12 consecutive months, get the prospect contact information and follow up to ask what he/she liked best about the magazine. She gasped "I can't ask for people contact information!" I went on to explain that she will need to enter the information in a database, so the company can keep track and reward her for following the magazine program.

She began to complain that five minutes of her day was way too much time to earn $500 a month! ( I wanted to suggest that she get a job at McDonald's or Walmart) It was at that moment, I knew that she didn't understand how money works. I asked her which would she prefer to work an extra four hours to earn $20 or pass out one magazine on way home from work, to earn $20.

She started to say that she would make more than $20 a day working part time for someone else. I sat back and asked her if she would prepare lunch/dinner during the time she would work? How many miles/gas she was willing to drive? Asked her if she was tax exempt? She immediately stated that she understood where I was going. You see there is no need to attack people, if you take the time to paint a visual, your prospects will eventually take the time to hear you out. She finally understood that she would spend more time trying to make a measly extra
$500 a month if she choose any other route. She went on to share with me how she was not happy with her current business. I listened, and when needed shared resources to help her with her business.

Albeit, she called me back within the hour, asking how can she
get started? She appreciated the time I took to answer her questions, share resources to help her current business, and helping her understand the $6,000 Guarantee. Well, the rest is history. I want you to know that I had FUN sharing resources with her, and I found her questions (and rebuttals) very entertaining. It didn't feel like WORK, because I knew that I would be helping her. That's what matters to me!

Make sure that when you are sharing information that you are having FUN. Do not talk to a prospect, thinking by the end of this call she/he is signing up! Take the time to answer questions, give resources, and build relationships. If you feel the need to get a expert or more seasoned Partner on the call, then advise your prospect that you will three-way him/her to assure that you get her questions answered right away. I learned a long time ago, that you should tell your upline/partner story until you've created your story. Here's to creating your story & having FUN while doing it!

If so, he is and will be taking YOUR customers and prospects. If not, it means you are ahead of the competition because he has not used the zip codes in your area.

2009 Is Your Year

Here is my desire for you and your family that 2009 be the best Year ever! 2009 Is YOUR year! Unless YOU take action my desire is just a wish. I would like to give you a few tips to help you take action and find your passion also to discover your life's purpose.

Before you think about making 2009 Your year, first lets reflect on 2008.

  • What did you do differently?
  • What did you achieve?
  • Are you closer to your goals? If not, why?
  • Have you lost your vision, to dream slayers?
  • Was your goals or vision to vague or unrealistic?
  • Are there SOME achievements you are GLAD about in 2008?
  • Are there some things you regret? Now is the time to forgive and move forward.

Your life is like a book. Let us close chapter 2008 and move to chapter 2009. Ready to close chapter 2008? Let us open Chapter 2009 because this IS your year! Let's start with our goals for 2009. There are 3 things that we want to consider focusing on while moving forward to the best year ever!

  1. It has to line up with your life vision and passion.
  2. It has to include a balance in all areas of your life; Spiritual, financial, mental, family, health, achievements, leisure.
  3. Life may get in the way, so there needs to be some flexibility in our projects.

Here are some things you may want to consider to help get you moving towards your vision and passion. You may want to write these down, then answer them.

  1. What do I want for myself?
  2. My goals for me and my family are?
  3. My goals to reach out and help others are?
  4. My business goals are?
  5. My Health goals are?
  6. My spiritual goals are?

Write your goals down, and visit them daily. Find a coach, mentor or a teacher. Involve your family and allow them to participate, they will be more supportive. No one to support you?
